Unique photo exhibition at Nordiska Kompaniet in Fredstan

Jim's photographs reveal what is invisible, hidden, and secret, where he allows the naked body to be both real and figurative. The exhibition is permeated by a longing for real contact and clear context in an increasingly disconnected world. Jim is a former member of the Gothenburg Opera's Dance Company, and based on his experience as a professional dancer – with his own body as an artistic instrument – he has developed a unique and poetic visual language.

– Our ambition is to establish Fredstan as a natural meeting place in Gothenburg for everyone who loves food, fashion, and culture, together with Vasakronan and Balder. We need to constantly further develop and explore new cultural experiences to attract an urban and modern audience, so it is particularly exciting to welcome exhibitions like these to Fredstan, says Oscar Hägg, Head of Retail Management Gothenburg at Hufvudstaden.

On December 14 and 15, the exhibition “There is only us” will have a live performance at Nordiska Kompaniet in Fredstan with dancers from the Gothenburg Opera's Dance Company.

The exhibition “There is only us” is open December 14-22 at Nordiska Kompaniet Kyrkogatan 50 in Fredstan, Gothenburg.
