Sephora opens flagship store in the Arcade

Fredstan is a vibrant district with a wide range of shops, restaurants, and hotels, located between Brunnsparken, Vallgraven, and the shopping streets Fredsgatan and Östra Hamngatan. Vasakronan is the largest property owner in the area and has actively worked to develop the district into an attractive destination.

Currently, Arkaden along Fredsgatan and Drottninggatan is undergoing an extensive facade renovation to create better conditions for the stores and a safer environment for visitors. When Sephora opens its new store in the newly renovated corner of Arkaden, customers are expected to have an improved shopping experience.

Sephora made its entrance in Gothenburg in 2015 and has since had a store on Kungsgatan.

It is an extremely sought-after and beloved concept. With the new store in Arkaden, Sephora will have completely different opportunities to develop its offerings, which I am confident customers will appreciate, says Kristina Pettersson Post, manager of Gothenburg.

Exactly what will happen with the premises on Kungsgatan Kristina Pettersson Post does not want to disclose.

– No, unfortunately, I cannot say more right now other than that we have a long-running dialogue with a very exciting player. Of course, I hope to be able to return to that in not too long. For the time being, I have to settle for noting that Kungsgatan is an attractive and sought-after retail location. This is evident from the inquiries we have received.

Sephora took over the premises on March 8 to carry out its store adjustments.
