Löfqvist & We are further sharpening the restaurant offerings in Fredstan

With Löfqvist & Vi on site, Fredstan in general and Arkaden in particular will have a really good restaurant that will serve both lunch and dinner, as well as offer after-work and shopping lunches on weekends.

In recent months, the number of restaurants in Fredstan has increased significantly. After Beets and Holy Greens opened, the restaurant concept Löfqvist & Vi is now taking place in Arkaden in Fredstan.

– Now we are getting a very established chef in Fredstan who will offer really good lunches. Löfqvist & Vi will be the first restaurant in Arkaden with alcohol rights, which means they add completely different possibilities – both for shoppers to enjoy a glass of bubbly after shopping, and for companies that want to have after-work. With Löfqvist & Vi, we continue to establish new players in Fredstan, which is entirely in line with our ambition to create a meeting place for people, fashion, and food, says Kristina Pettersson Post, regional manager for Vasakronan in Gothenburg.

Löfqvist & Vi is run by Bill Svenningsson, a well-known restaurateur and head chef in Gothenburg who has run restaurants such as Déjà Vu, Särö värdshus, Farbror Hjödis, among others. Martin Löfqvist, who among other things owns Subway Kungsportsplatsen, along with Dennis Ge and Sadber Fazlijaj who run and own Pix Bar and Restaurant Bourbon Street, are the owners. They look forward to opening in Fredstan.

-We see Arkaden as a natural meeting place in the heart of Gothenburg. We want to serve the city’s best traditional dishes, soups, and salads to everyone who is in the building and in the nearby area, as well as to all the shoppers in the area. In Arkaden, we can create a good selection in a pleasant environment, and make people feel comfortable and want to return, says Martin Löfqvist, owner of Löfqvist & Vi.

At the start, the focus will be on lunch guests. In the long run, Löfqvist & Vi will also work with special bookings and corporate events. After 8 PM, restaurant visitors should be able to enter via Östra Hamngatan. There will be activities that contribute to a more vibrant Fredstan for more hours of the day.
