The Johanna quarter is emerging

In the Johanna Quarter, the property owner Hufvudstaden is now creating a modern, open, and inspiring place with attractive and functional office and retail spaces. New workplaces that contribute to a city environment full of life and movement.

The Johanna Quarter consists of four existing properties as well as the so-called 'Johanna plot' that has been vacant since a fire in 2005. The quarter's name is derived from the statue 'Johanna in Brunnsparken', which also gave its name to the legendary restaurant Johanna that once stood here.

To provide the area around Fredstan with a more vibrant and safe street environment, the ground floors of the properties will be developed so that more shops and meeting places, such as cafés and restaurants, can bring life to the streets. The idea is to connect the walking paths in the city so that the public life in Brunnsparken can continue all the way to Östra Larmgatan and Drottninggatan.
