Hufvudstaden welcomes GANT to Fredstan

Here, customers will find a comprehensive offering for men, women, and children.

GANT has its roots in the USA, but it was through the Swedish acquisition that the brand was launched on a global market in the 2000s and expanded its product portfolio. Now GANT is taking another step to strengthen its presence on the Swedish west coast by opening a store in Fredstan. It will be a so-called flagship store in a space of 435 square meters, spread over two floors. Here, customers are offered a full-scale brand experience and a wide product range for men, women, teens, children, and home. GANT's collections combine American and European styles with a focus on quality and design.

– Gothenburg is an important market for us, and we are excited to be able to provide our customers here with a complete GANT experience. Fredstan attracts a stylish audience that we look forward to getting to know, says Jonas Carlström, CEO of GANT Sweden.

Hufvudstaden is working together with Vasakronan, Gothenburg City, and other property owners to enhance the attractiveness of Fredstan. By both preserving and modernizing parts of the area, the property owners, together with the city, aim to create a vibrant district characterized by a clear identity, charming street environments, and many meeting places.

GANT is moving into one of the neighborhood's oldest and most beautiful buildings and will be neighbors with international brands like Chanel Beauty Store and Hugo Boss on Fredsgatan.
